Love grove flyover connects South Mumbai to the mainland of the financial capital. In this 613m long structure, the continuous spans and box girders were distressed due to faulty bearings. Therefore there was structural repair and strengthening requirement after bearing replacement. For this sensitive and critical work, the client chose SRMPL products for strengthening. SRM-C-Lam carbon laminates were prestressed using our proprietary prestressing system. CFRP rods and wraps were also installed as per design. All in all, this important public asset in the heart of Mumbai has a new lease of life, thanks to the SRMPL family of products!
